CHARTER

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

• 1.1. The Organization is a public association of individuals and legal entities with non-profit status.
• 1.2. It operates on the principles of legality, voluntariness, equality, self-governance, collegial leadership and transparency.
• 1.3. The Organization pursues no political goals and is affiliated with no political movement.
• 1.4. It operates throughout Armenia and abroad in accordance with applicable law.
• 1.5. Its English name is Association of Periodontists of Armenia NGO.
• 1.6. Registered address: 11, 5th Lane of Yeghishe Tadevosyan Street, Yerevan.

2. ACTIVITIES AND OBJECTIVES

• Advance periodontology in Armenia and help reduce the prevalence of periodontal disease.
• Raise members’ scientific and practical competence and support young professionals.
• Develop clinical guidance and educational materials and organize lectures.
• Support the adoption of modern diagnostic and treatment methods.
• Build international ties and organize conferences and congresses.
• Improve public awareness of preventive care.

3. RIGHTS OF THE ORGANIZATION

• 3.1. The Organization obtains legal-entity status upon state registration.
• 3.2. It may own property, maintain accounts and a seal, hold bank accounts, acquire rights and appear before courts.

11. REORGANIZATION AND DISSOLUTION

This Charter was drawn up on 10 February 2024 and consists of 11 pages.

• 11.1. The Organization may be dissolved by a decision of the General Meeting or a court.
• 11.2. Remaining assets are used for statutory purposes or transferred to the state budget.
• 11.3. Reorganization is carried out as prescribed by law.
